Irie Jungle Brings the Heat in Miami
Miami’s craft beer scene is a sight to be seen, and I was lucky enough to take a quick jaunt down to Fort Lauderdale and Miami just in time for beer week. Here’s a recap of Tripping Animals’ famous fest, Irie Jungle, as well as my itinerary and some tips for enjoying beer week and the festivities leading up to the fest!
Day 1 - Fly into Fort Lauderdale and check out the beer scene up there. If you land in Miami, there’s an easy $5 train that will take you to Fort Lauderdale and save you a $50 Uber.
Hit Laser Wolf, Orchestrated Minds, Invasive Species, and the FLL Tripping Animals taproom for pre-event festivities!
Day 2 - hit the beautiful beaches in Fort Lauderdale! I was able to walk from my bnb. Later, take the $5 train down to Miami and get off at the stop closest to your destination.
Miami places to swing through: Shōjō’s Dojo. Unseen Creatures brewing. MIA Bruhaus. Spanish Marie.
Day 3 - the fest! Here are all of the details:

🍺 60+ breweries pouring beer, wine, seltzer, mead + thc bevvies
🎸 3 musical acts bringing them fresh tunes
🤙 Infinite immaculate Miami Florida vibes
